The Lacemaker and The Princess - Kimberly Brubacker Bradley

The Lacemaker and the PrincessThe Lacemaker and the Princess by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This story was based on the French Revolution, and I thought it was cool to here about how the founding of the U.S.A. (or the war) affected other countries, and from their perspective, not ours. Also, the friendships and different opinions presented as well as the way that people act differently in different situations was all portrayed in an interesting way in this book. However, it was a book about a revolution, and this includes the darker parts as well. It doesn't go in depth, but I wouldn't read this book any younger than fourth grade. Also, I wish that it would be a book that I could read over and over again and not get tired of, but it didn't have that quality.
