Among the Hidden - Margaret Peterson Haddix
The ideas expressed in this book were really interesting and I like how the book didn't go exactly how you liked. **SPOILER** I actually (although I was not happy at first) enjoy the fact the jen died. To me this seems more realistic, and kind of takes away that "the good guy always survives aspect of the book". I would recommend this book, and if you really liked them I would also suggest the rest of the series. The ideas in this book could be a bit controversial though, but I personally enjoyed to books, and would show them.
