Persuasion- Jane Austen

Persuasion- Jane Austen
Rating: 5 stars

I love the amount of thoughts that Anne, the main character had. She deeply thought about each action of every character in depth. In addition, I enjoyed how she was really smart and a lovely person, but at the beginning of the book everyone just took her for granted and didn't really give her much thought. My favorite quote from the book speaks of Anne as she is at the beginning," Her word had no weight, her convenience was always to give way." Jane Austen developed all the characters in such a way that it was difficult to tell which would be important later in the story and which would simply be in the book for one scene, then drift out. The Old English in this book made it a little tricky at first, as well as the density. Although once I got used to it the language wasn't an issue at all. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend  it to a more advanced reader. (Meaning I would Show it)
